Hag Stones & Sea Glass: Welcome

Auditions & Workshop

First Episode | 3:00pm Tuesday 3/15 in the Grotto

I am looking for voice actors for an all-new fantasy audio drama podcast that I intend to publish to Spotify. Depending on actor availability, I'd also like to put on a live show with selections from one or more episodes on May 23rd or 24th as part of the presentation aspect of the project. For the first episode, I have 8-12 roles available, plus extras. All roles are gender flexible. Character descriptions and auditon sides can be found below.

I'm also looking for tech crew! Assistant Director, Sound Designers (I'd like to experiment with Foley techniques so if that's something you're interested in, this is the project for you!), Editor, and Publicity are all open positions.

If you're interested in participating, email or text me (hohensteinm.22@stu.materdei.org or 949 662 4159). We will meet after school in the grotto on Tuesday 3/15 (if you're in HSM and can't make it that day, let me know -- I want to do my best to accommodate you) to begin the casting & workshopping process. Snacks will be provided. Thespian points ARE available for cast & crew!!

Thank you all so much for considering my project!! See you Tuesday!!!

Summary

Hag Stones & Sea Glass is an original audio drama anthology. Set in a fantastical world far from this one, it follows the stories of the water and the people who live around and within it. Currently in pre-production, I plan to publish to Spotify as well as hold a live show for the presentation of my Capstone Project in May.

The first episode will follow a family of four as they navigate an Ancient Greek-inspired network of city states searching for a mage who can heal the mysterious and rare illness of their youngest brother. (See above for auditio & workshop information.)
